BECOMING PART OF OUR FAMILY
The C.I. Design Team is working hard and meeting regularly to brainstorm, plan, and prepare to make C.I. an awesome, memorable, and meaningful experience for you. I am so excited about your interest in attending Christmas Institute (C.I.) this year. I can vividly remember my own experience and the excitement that I felt about being away from home, being with other young people, and learning more about my faith and making it my own. C.I. is truly special to me because it was the place where I not only found a loving community, but also experienced God's unfailing love. Since then, C.I has served as a launch pad for me to follow Him for the rest of my life. We hope and pray that C.I can be both a transformative and a memorable experience for you.
The Yadao Scholarship was created at Christmas Institute in 2006, where Lawry and Trini Yadao were recognized for their commitment and dedication to the Christmas Institute ministry for playing a vital role as guidance counselors to C.I. leadership and as role models to all. The Yadaos have decided to grant the scholarship to a first-time camper who has interest in attending the retreat to learn about God and develop their Christian faith.

"THE 20/20 EXPERIENCE: Peace, Hope, & Love "
“Therefore, since we have been made righteous through his faithfulness, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. We have access by faith into his grace in which we stand through him, and we boast in the house of God's glory. But not only that! We even take pride in our problems, because we know that trouble produces endurance, endurance produces character, and character produces hope. This hope doesn't put us to shame, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”
